Alice Springs Parrtjima - Festival in Light

Date: 5th to 13th of July 2019

Parrtjima is the only authentic First Nations festival of its kind, showcasing the oldest continuous cultures on earth through the newest technology – all on a 300-million-year-old natural canvas in the Red Centre. Parrtjima celebrates the ways in which artists can evolve and experiment with different styles and materials, while staying true to the ancient philosophy of connection and Country.

Alice Springs Camel Cup

Date: 13 July 2019

The 2018 Alice Springs Camel Cup will be held on the 14th of July, at the Blatherskite Park, Alice Springs.

Run Larapinta

Henley on Todd Regatta

Date: 17th August 2019

The Henley-on-Todd Regatta is an annual 'boat' race in the normally dry sandy bed of the Todd River, Alice Springs.

This is totall;y unique because it is 1500km’s from the nearest large body of water. The race features bottomless boats racing down the dry Todd river in the centre of Alice Springs. A sight not to be missed!
